District Named Top Workplace

Top WorkplaceWynantskill UFSD is proud to announce it has been named a 2016 Top Workplace by the Times Union.

The award is given annually to companies and organizations based solely on the results of an independent employee feedback survey. Only 50 awards were given this year. A total of 402 workplaces were invited to participate.

"To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day – the employees," said Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics, which conducted the survey. "Time and time again, our research has proven that what's most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it's going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together."

Superintendent Thomas Reardon agreed, noting how critical organizational health is to a school district because it helps ensure everyone can focus on what truly is important, helping students be successful.

"We are incredibly proud to be selected a Top Workplace. It means more than just are our employees happy but also do they feel heard and do they have confidence in where we are headed," Dr. Reardon said. "It's a testament to what a long way our district has come to see our faculty and staff so focused on the present and the future."
